2010 T.A.G. Hungerford Award
writingWA is delighted to announce that in 2010 it will match New Edition Bookshop's $6,000 cash prize, raising the T.A.G. Hungerford Award prize money to a total of $12,000.
This investment is made in recognition of the vital role that the T.A.G. Hungerford Award plays in uncovering and nurturing new writing talent in this state. It is quite simply, Western Australia's most important literary award for emerging authors.
Call for Entries - 2010 T.A.G. Hungerford Award
The winner of Western Australia’s leading award for an unpublished manuscript will receive a cash prize of $12,000 and a publishing contract with Fremantle Press.
The Award is made for an unpublished work of fiction or creative non-fiction by a resident West Australian author not previously published in book form.
