David Suzuki: The Legacy Lecture

Based on the premise – 'If I had one last lecture to give, what would I say?' –scientist and environmental activist David Suzuki takes a candid and engaging look at life on our planet over the past 70 years. Dr Suzuki reflects upon significant social, scientific, cultural and political developments and upon the lessons and insights that have shaped his life.

This era’s leading voice on planetary harmony, Dr Suzuki moves from the wisdom of his grandparents, to memories of time spent in the Canadian wilderness with his father, to the promise and hope held in the birth of his new grandson.

Dr Suzuki's intimate storytelling is complemented by a striking documentary in the tradition of Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth in which dramatic visuals from around the globe illustrate the inherent inter-connectedness of life on Earth.
