WordWired's creative writing group for teenagers has now been running for almost 2 years! After conducting two highly successful groups for primary school children at the City of Gosnells' libraries in Term 2, Jacinta Rosielle will be launching a new group for 8-11 year olds at Tom Collins House in Term 3 (numbers permitting).
WordWired aims to develop confident, motivated creative writers in a fun, social environment. Creative writing is explored as an artform, with participants learning through experimentation with a wide range of techniques, rather than drilling a few conventional formulas.
The two groups will run at the following times on Mondays, beginning on the 26th of July.
8-11 year olds, 4-5pm
12-17 year olds, 5-6pm
