Biography Naomi was born in Perth, Western Australia, and began writing stories as a child. Her love of writing never ceased however, for many long years she rejected writing as her creative outlet and tried other things such as dancing, acting and modelling. Finally, at the age of twenty-one, she turned back to writing and found herself on a challenging but rewarding path. At the age of twenty-eight she completed a Bachelor of Education degree with a double major in Primary Teaching and English and Creative Arts, with a minor in Early Childhood Education. She also completed a Comprehensive Writing Course with The Writing School. During this time she became very passionate about literature and decided to take her writing seriously, which led to self-publishing and marketing two novels, one short story collection and a short novel for children. She has done much promotional work for her books including holding a book launch in her local town, and having her success story written about in The Knowledge Tree newsletter for The Writing School. She has made visits to various schools to do readings and drama workshops based on her books. She appeared as Resident Author for Book Week at her local school, and has had large quantities of books distributed to libraries in Western Australia through Westbooks.
