| Biography |
I was raised in England (born 1941), Indonesia and Australia and have degrees in Arts, Fine Arts and teaching. I have worked as a scriptwriter (ABC radio), as a teacher, librarian and museum educator.I have also completed a number of oral history projects. |
| Publication History |
I have written three books - "Schoolship Kids" (Black Swan Press, 1999; "The Big Q - a history of the Shire of Quairading"(2003); and "Until the Boys return - a history of the Australian Women's Land Army (WA Division" (2010). I also wrote (with a colleague) the three stories used in the Kojonup Interpretative Centre of the three women (specifically for the Rose Maze). The Centre received a Museum of the Year award in 2008. Currently working on a chapter for a proposed book on the history of theatre on the UWA campus. |
